Club president and goalkeeper Dave Grant said the win was made even more impressive after losing a player early in the first half.

"It was obviously a good hard game," he said.
"We played probably 70 or 75 minutes a player down so we had a person sent off after probably 15 minutes."
Grant admitted there was not much malice in the send-off.
"It was probably more of a clumsy effort than anything malicious so he got send-off," he said.
"So we played with 10 men for the majority of the game and full credit to our guys."
"You could tell they were tired in the last five minutes of the game but we held RSL out and come away with the goods."
The lone goal of the game came after Brice Fabregat scored a first-time volley halfway through the opening half of the match.
Grant felt his defence were strong including Will Eather who claimed the players player for the match.
"Will Eather he played centre-back and it probably showed the effort that he had to put in to make sure RSL didn't score a goal," he said.
"Everyone dug in and played really well, we had a couple of second graders come off the bench and you really appreciate when some fresh legs come on especially when you have 10."
Grant said the side was not sure where they would fit in the standings before the season.
"We really weren't sure what to expect," he said.
"We have a lot of players who have come for the solar farm work which is great for our soccer having two teams with first and second grade.
"A lot of our younger players get to play a different style of soccer with these fellas who have come from different backgrounds like England, South America and French.
"To say that we would be sitting on the top, I certainly wouldn't have been counting on that."
In the rounds other matches, Dubbo Bulls FC and Westside could not be split playing a 1-1 draw.
Newtown defeated Macquarie United 2-0 and Orana Spurs were too strong for South Dubbo Wanderers winning 8-0.
