ALSO MAKING NEWS:
Business NSW Western NSW regional manager Vicki Seccombe said the Rhino Awards were a great opportunity to celebrate business.
"We're all pretty aware how tough the last couple of years have been for businesses in the region and across regional NSW but I think that's why it's so important to have business awards," Mr Seccombe said.
"We need to celebrate businesses and acknowledge businesses and really get them to come out and show us all the innovative things that they've been doing recently and how it actually is to be in business."
The 2021 Rhino Awards are again sponsored by Regional Australia Bank.
Regional Australia Bank manager Ben Luck has encouraged businesses to nominate.
"It's going to good to get back out there after a smaller event last year. It'll be great to see what everyone in business has actually achieved," Mr Luck said.
"We've seen the economy bounce back in great rates at the moment... There's a lot to celebrate so the more people who nominate and support it is great for us."
Nominations for the awards can be made via the Dubbo Chamber of Commerce website.
They are free to enter and judging is undertaken by a panel of independent business professionals from outside Dubbo.
The finalists will be announced at a cocktail party on September 17.
The Rhino Awards gala, where the winners will be announced, will be held on October 22. The theme will be centred around the awards' 25th anniversary.
