The 30-year-old isn't using the looming Czar Amonsot fight to warm back into the sport or to shake off the cobwebs, he's coming in to "hurt" his opponent.
And part of the reason he's supremely confident ahead of the No Limit Boxing showdown is due to a relocation back to his home town.
After living in Sydney for the past two years, Ah-See decided to return to his old gym at Orange and as soon as he walked through the doors at Mobsport, something felt right.

Ah See, who also has strong ties to Dubbo, reunited with long-time coach Jake Kenny and it didn't take long for the duo to start speculating about a potential return to the ring.
Once Ah-See realised he still had the burning desire to compete, he called up his old mate and fight promoter Matt Rose, and the deal was all-but done.
Rose helped pencil Ah-See in to fight on the Tszyu vs. Zerafa at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre, and the fight camp began.
You see, Ah-See was supposed to return to the ring in 2020, but after his opponent was forced to withdraw at the last minute, he's been inactive since.
"I'm ready to go again," Ah-See said.
"Ever since I've moved home, everything's been 10 out of 10. The way I've been training lately, everything's been working.
"I'm just coming into my peak. I'm probably only at about 70 or 75 per cent. There's still a long way for me to go."
The fight will take place at welterweight, and Ah-See is walking around just two kilograms above his weight limit, which should make the cut a fairly routine one.
Ah-See isn't worried about making weight, but he is mindful of what his opponent brings to the table as the 35-year-old Philippines product boasts a 35-3 record in what's been a decorated career inside the squared circle.
As for his glaring strengths... Ah-See has identified them.
"He's got a dangerous left hand, that's what we're going to be looking for," he said.
"But, when you have lots of power, you tend to look for it too much and neglect other skills. But, I'm prepared for that left and we're expecting it to come.
"Apparently he starts off slow and finishes strong, but I'm preparing to put non-stop pressure on him. I've been sparring for 10 rounds and this fight is only eight."
Ah-See will fight on the main card of the Tszyu vs. Zerafa card on Wednesday July 7 at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre.
