Brett Robb continued a highly successful first season as a trainer and Maddison Wright is on track to retain the NSW picnic jockeys premiership after the Dubbo couple combined to win four of the six Bligh Picnics races at Mudgee on Saturday.

One of the winners, Boy's Home, is also owned by by the couple and Wright joked he was allowing them to help furnish their home after moving to Dubbo in recent months.
"It is so good to win on one of our own. Boys home, we call him nuts, has bought us a lounge for our new house and a TV; now I've got my eyes on another sausage dog. I've just got to talk to my other owner," Wright told the NSW Country and Picnic Racing website.

Boy's Home ($2 favourite) led throughout to win the Merotherie Handicap (1400m) from Wazena (Wayne Wheatley, $4) and Georgian Court (Anaelle Gangotena, $3.30).
The Robb-trained Combogolong (Wright, $4) completed three successive wins when leading all the way to beat Congenial Mistress (Gangotena, $5.50) and Wishing And Hoping (Will Stanley, $3.50 equal favourite) by more than seven lengths in the Class B Handicap (1100m).
The other winners for Robb and Wright were Expect A Hero ($2.40) and Germaine ($2 equal fav.), however, they missed a five win haul when Skullharderson was beaten in a photo finish by Sestina in the Birkalla Bracelet Collaroy Cup (1000m).
The Doug Gorrel-trained Sestina (Gangotena, $3) raced on the outside of Skullharderson ($2 fav.) from the outset and after a length of the straight battle prevailed by a half-neck with five lengths to the third placed Regina Margherita (Leandro Ribeiro, $6).
"I think the wet track was a bonus," Wright said.
"We knew when we did nominations that Mudgee was going to get a bit of rain, so we put a few of our swimmers in."
The day's feature event, the Bligh Picnic Cup (1850m), was won by Mudgee trainer Mark Milton and Cthonia.
Cthonia ($3.90) relished the heavy going and will talented apprentice Will Stanley in the saddle broke clear at the top of the straight and went on to score a massive win of more than 13 lengths.
