Owned by Guy Mitchell from Binnaway and Rob Pratten from Dubbo, Classy Rebel ($2.80 favourite) had no issue with the short back-up and won the day's feature event in front of a strong crowd by almost eight lengths from Gadfly (Jake Pracey-Holmes, $15) and The Bald Eagle (Liam Blanch, $3.50).

Classy Rebel was the third leg of a winning treble for Gallagher, the talented young jockey having earlier won on Terry Tuffnut and Slickster.

Now in the Kylie Kennedy stable at Narromine, Terry Tuffnut ($8) broke through after 26 starts to win the Maiden Handicap (1400m).

He by a half-neck after a stride-for-stride battle with Seclusion (Pracey-Holmes, $5.50) over the final 300m, while the $2.20 favourite More Oomph (Casey Waddell) ran home only fairly from well back for third.

Gallagher then led for home on Slickster ($4) and the Jan Bowen-trained eight-year-old chestnut gelding eventually won the Craigmoor Fine Wines Benchmark 50 Handicap (1000m) by more than four lengths from Sniper Excels (Tony Cavallo, $3.80 fav.) and Balerion (Pracey-Holmes, $4.60).

After only a handful of previous race rides, apprentice Ben Osmond produced an outstanding ride to score his career first winner with three-year-old filly Lily's Lolly in the Aussie Country Catering Maiden Plate (1000m).

From an outside barrier, Lily's Lolly was quickly away and found a good position third on the rails before easing around the leaders when turning for home.

The Todd Howlett-trained Lily's Lolly ($3 fav.) then kicked away to win by a length-and-a-quarter from Velocity Choice (Liam Blanch, $6) with Hireach (Zara Lewis, $41) a long-head away in third.

Gilgandra trainer Kieren Hazleton won with Streets Of Suemori at Parkes on Saturday and he made it a good weekend when Bacinblac won the next day at Gulgong.

Well ridden by the Bathurst-based Chelsea Ings, Bacinblac ($7) settled well back in the 11-horse field before coming with a strong finish to win by a length from second-placed dead-heaters Fiveash (Gallagher, $5) and Zagaya (Aaron Sweeney, $8) in the Henry Lawson Benchmark 58 Handicap (1800m).

Given the run of the race behind the leader by Daniel Northey, the Peter Clare-trained Dubai Harbour ($2 fav.) won the Class 2 Handicap (1200m) from Renzulli (Yvette Lewis, $7) and Manno (Ben Osmond, $4).

Dubai Harbour was part of a successful meeting for Muswellbrook trainers, with Clare, Howlett, and Bowen all from the Hunter town.
