The record for the lowest maximum temperature at Dubbo during the first month of winter belongs to June 23, 2005, with 7.7 degrees.
Thursday's top temperature was 8.2 degrees, half of the average maximum temperature at Dubbo during June of 16.4 degrees.

On Friday morning, Dubbo had officially received 75.4 millimetres (mm) of rain in the first 10 days of June 2021.
Average rainfall at Dubbo during June is 48.3mm.
The tally included 41.6mm recorded at Dubbo City Regional Airport in the 24 hours to 9am Thursday.
More rain may be on the way.
On Friday, the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) was forecasting a 70 per cent chance of up to 10mm falling on Wednesday and a 50 per cent chance of up to 3mm on Thursday.
The BoM's seven-day forecast as of Friday suggests warmer top temperatures ahead including 18 degrees on Tuesday and Wednesday.
