The Western NSW Primary Health Network (WNSW PHN) has launched its "confidential" and online 2021 community health survey which will run until June 27 at www.wnswphn.org.au/survey

Through its survey, the WNSW PHN is seeking to learn about participants' personal health and well-being, major health concerns in their communities and improvements needed in regional health services.
The online survey asks participants to identify the likes of the "three most important gaps or shortcoming in health services where you live".
WNSW PHN acting chief executive officer Robert Strickland said the survey would assist the coordination and planning of primary healthcare services into the future.
He said the region covered more than half of the state and included many diverse communities which experienced varying health challenges and issues.
"I encourage every person in Western NSW to share their experience and opinions and have a real say in shaping the delivery of primary healthcare in their community and across the region," he said.
The results of the survey will be released publicly later in the year in the WNSW PHN's health needs assessment.
Meanwhile, the WNSW PHN has extended the deadline to June 18 for applications for its community well-being grants for communities recovering from natural disasters.
