The 22-year-old who received the sash at the Dubbo Show on Saturday said she decided to enter the competition with a little encouragement from the 2019 Showgirl Tyla Comerford.
"Tyla convinced me it was a good idea to have a go, and at first I didn't think it was for me," Ms Hutchinson said.

"But I thought what have I got to lose, I may as well give it a go."
Ms Hutchinson, who is also the secretary for the dog section of the Dubbo Show, said it had been a "fantastic" experience.
"It's been fantastic I've had such a good time and really enjoyed myself," she said.
Ms Hutchinson attended Dubbo Senior Campus and is currently studying a Bachelor of Accounting, majoring in international business at Charles Sturt University.
She has also completed a certificate III in animal studies through TAFE NSW.
The 2021 Showgirl said when she completes her degree she would under take further language studies with the aspiration of working in a large international corporation.
This year's runner up was 22-year-old Savannah Dimmock.
Ms Dimmock is currently studying a Bachelor of Agriculture and a Master of secondary Teaching through the University of New England.
She said she was looking forward to her teaching career to help support and guide the next generation in agriculture.
The Showgirl competition in NSW provides an opportunity for young women to become involved in their local communities as rural ambassadors.
Entrants are judged on a number of categories including personality, confidence, life goals and ambitions.
They are also judged on presentation, speech and are asked to demonstrate their involvement in the community and knowledge of current affairs.
Both Showgirls were presented their sashes by The Land Sydney Royal Easter Showgirl Jessica Neale.
The Zoo FM Dubbo Teenager Showgirl was awarded to Ella James.
