Dubbo Regional Council made the announcement on Friday afternoon, four days are it was put in place.
"Dubbo Regional Council wishes to advise the community that the precautionary boil water notice for the Wellington water supply area has been lifted and there are no restrictions on the normal use of drinking water supplied to the area," council said.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
"The lifting of the precautionary alert has been taken following consultation with public health authorities.
"Council wishes to thank the community for their understating and cooperation."
