Toorale Road will be temporarily closed to facilitate the reconstruction of the road and culvert.
The work is scheduled to start on Toorale Road from Monday, May 17, and expected to take 10 weeks to complete, weather permitting.
The work includes the replacement of the culvert at Eulomogo Creek, as well as pavement reconstruction to reduce flood levels during heavy rain events.
As a result of these works, there will be traffic interruptions.
Toorale Road will be closed to traffic at either side of Eulomogo Creek throughout the duration of project.
Residents on the east and west of Eulomogo Creek, on Toorale Road, will need to access the Wellington Road/Mitchell Highway from Eulomogo Road from either side.
A Traffic Management Plan will be in place during the closure.
Dubbo Regional Council has delivered courtesy notices to affected residents with alternate routes and council would like to thank residents for their understanding.
