Toastmasters from across District 90 will travel to Dubbo specifically for the conference, which is set to run over three days.
The conference is being held by Toastmasters, an international organisation that helps people of all ages become more confident in public speaking.
Also for the first time the conference will be presented in a 'hybrid-fashion' - both face-to-face and online via Zoom, following the successful online event last year due to covid-19 restrictions.
Headlining the event will be bush poet Robyn Sykes.
Sykes will present multiple times over the three days, delivering high energy performances which take inspiration from her varied life experiences from incubating crocodile eggs to wrangling on the farm.
Also set to present over various times and days are District 90 member Nick Bendel and speaker, trainer and certified speaking coach Dale Rees-Bevan.
Dubbo's Joh Leader from Leaderlife will also be running a workshop on building resilient communities.
"We work with the kids, who by no fault of their own, have been caught in the crossfire of some incredibly complex issues like domestic violence, neglect, abuse and trauma," she said.
"LeaderLife bravely do things a bit differently knowing that 'all can lead a life of purpose, participation and potential' if the right approach is adopted," she said.
"We compassionately guide kids to always be learning because 'when you know better... you do better'
"We commit for the long haul - this approach shows us to be emotionally healthy, all people need a sense of belonging, mastery, independence and generosity.
"Our approach is simple and we will always work together to ensure that no child is left behind no matter the circumstance.
"We will continue providing creative opportunities for our young people in hope all kids feel wonderfully precious and dearly cared about in our town."
The Toastmasters Conference will be held at the Dubbo RSL Club on Friday, May 21, Saturday May 22 and Sunday May 23.
