Power said the teenage defender has been brilliant since joining the side and is looking forward to watching her develop over the coming season.
"I'm really impressed with Emmy, she's a new girl from out of town and a boarder and I think she will really come into her own being only 14 and playing against adults," she said.
"We've had two young teams over the last two weeks but with a bit of guidance from our older players we will see good things come from her this year."
Power feels with a few more weeks under their belts, the Hornets could surprise a few teams in the competition.
"I think we have a really strong team once we find our combinations, there's five of us that played in the regional league team this year," she said.
"So I think once we have a few more games together our combinations will really work well, I think we will be strong and should see the finals."
Elsewhere in round three, the Narromine Hawks defeated competition heavyweights Fusion 48-45 in what may have been a grand final preview.
The Hawks have now won their last two games this season.
St Groovers edged out the Nyngan Cougars 44-38 while Dubbo Rhinos Rebels had the bye.
