It is past history now that the Dunedoo Swans raised the silverware courtesy of a 16-10 victory over the Gilgandra Panthers in that enthralling battle in last year's decider.
The Ben Thompson-led Swans have made a good fist of defending their premiership so far in 2021 and they have not dropped a game so far this year.
They will face a big examination on Saturday when they come up against the Panthers, who also have not yet tasted defeat so far in the 2021 season.

A large crowd is expected to be at Dunedoo's Robertson Oval to witness the rematch, and perhaps it will be the home ground advantage and a swathe of green and white supporters who might just get the Swans home, but certainly the Panthers will be willing combatants.
In the weekend's round five results, the Swans get the competition points against the Coonamble Bears while Gilgandra downed the Coonabarabran Unicorns in a night game at Gilgandra.
The Panthers scored a commanding 42-8 win in that one, with hard-running second-rower Hayden Smith bagging a hat-trick.
The Panthers lead 16-0 at half-time and went on with the job in the second half to claim an important victory against their arch rivals.
At Cobar, the home side was way too strong for the visiting Gulgong Terriers. The Roosters ran out 54-10 victors to regain some momentum following their first loss of the year the previous week to Dunedoo.
In the weekend's league tag matches, Baradine kept its unbeaten start to the season alive courtesy of a 10-point win over Binnaway.
Elsewhere, Dunedoo scored a commanding 42-6 win over Coonamble, Coonabarabran proved too good for Gilgandra and ran out 18-8 winners, and Cobar downed Gulgong 25-0.
There was one Youth League match played out on Saturday and there a double to Joshua Forgione led Baradine to a 24-4 win over Binnaway.
Apart from the senior grand final rematch at Dunedoo an interesting battle of the Magpies will take place at Baradine. The hosts their will take on their southern black and white counterparts from Trangie, with both sides looking for a win to bolster their hopes of staying in touch with the finals places.
Elsewhere, the Gulgong Terriers will look to bounce back from the weekend's loss when they host the Coonamble Bears.
