About 11.30am on Wednesday, officers attached to Dubbo Highway Patrol observed a white Toyota corolla bearing false number plates travelling near the intersection of Derribong Avenue and Dandaloo Street in Narromine.
It's alleged the vehicle sped off when police indicated for the driver to stop.
A pursuit was initiated throughout the township of Narromine before police allege the vehicle crashed into a residential fence on Minore Street.
Police allege the corolla continued speeding above the signposted 50km/h speed limit and was last seen travelling on Minore Street.
A short time later the vehicle was located abandoned outside a home on Birch Avenue.
Investigations into the matter continue.
