Coach for the side's inaugural season Dale Bates feels it is a massive boost for the club to have a pathway for female footballers to progress through the grades into the senior women's side.
"It's a huge accomplishment for them, just to get the girls to be able to create the team," he said.
"It just gives the older girls something to step up into before senior women's because before that junior girls had to stop playing after under 14s and do nothing until they turned 18 so it's just an extra step for the girls which is great and we have had a lot of interest."

The side fell 13 points short of a win last week against Orange but Bates was more than pleased with the performance.
"Our first game was last Sunday, out of the 11 girls I had only three of them had ever played football before," he said.
"For their first game, I sent out a text message saying how proud I was because there is no way you can sit there and watch the game and think it was their first game."
Bates also admitted the success of the team for the season would not be measured in wins or losses but in enjoyment.
"The goal for the season is for them to have fun and just build a bit of interest in the game as long as they are having fun, I don't mind winning or losing that's not anything to do with that at the moment," he said.
"If they get to the point where they want to start winning games then we can push things up a bit further and bring the skills up more."
Of the several first time players, Bates was particularly impressed with one of the newcomers who could be one to watch in the future.
"Zoe McAnerney first game of football and she would've had to have been best on field as far as I'm concerned." he said.
The youth girls side will travel to Bathurst on Sunday to face the Giants in round two of the competition.
Two of the Dubbo Demons' senior sides will travel to Orange to face the Tigers on Saturday at Waratah Sports Club while the newly formed Tier 2 side will travel to Cowra to face the Blues.
The Tier 1 side struggled last week against a strong Bathurst Giants outfit and will be looking to score their first of the season when they take on Orange, who also lost against the Bathurst Bushrangers last weekend.
The senior women's side also lost last week but should bounce back against Orange who were kept scoreless last week also against the Bushrangers.
