The students were broken into four separate age groups and spent the entire day participating in various activities which support the aim of the program.
I like the activities, we just have more fun
- Jaylah Poulson
Friends and activity partners Jaylah Poulson and Alexa Paradowski agreed their favourite activity was the minefield activity, where one partner had to lead the other through a minefield blindfolded using only communication.
"I like the activities, we just have more fun," Jaylah said.
"[The mindfield] was a bit tricky, but it's fun," Alexa said.
All of the students also participated in The Bucket Challenge where they wrote a positive message on a piece of paper and put it into a big bucket that was hung up near the front office.
Grow Your Mind is an ongoing journey set to develop resilience, brain awareness, compassion, gratitude, mindfulness and courage within students.
