Tin Camp Studio's Sessions
Warren Mason, a proud Yuwaalaraay man with links to the Yota Yota, will bring his The Tin Camp Sessions to town as part of Dubbo Fringe.
The session aims to tell Mason's story in the form of music, sound, flim and spoken words and focuses on healing.
"I see the concept of the Tin Camp as a healing tool for me to tell my story to all who have the chance to be part of it," Mason said.
"I am on a journey of learning through my art and music practices with the idea of telling my story to all who are willing to come sit and be part of what do."
The Tin Camp Studio's Sessions will be held in Dubbo on Thursday, May 6 from 9pm at Wesley Hall.
The Black Opals: Songs of Solidarity
The Black Opals, Franny and Revel will be presenting Songs of Solidarity.
The dup, an aboriginal and non-aboriginal singer/musician two-piece, will be discussing the subject of solidarity through songs.
The Black Opals will perform on May 6, 7 and 8 at Wesley House from 6pm.
Doctor Who fanatics in the area will be able to appreciate the sell-out show, Who Me, by Dubbo-born actor Rob Lloyd when it takes to Dubbo stages for its very first time.
The show will see Lloyd investigate whether Doctor Who [the television show] is guilty of inciting in him a debilitating obsession, or whether it has shaped him into a well-rounded, mentally-sound member of society.
