The Bureau of Meteorology's (BoM) seven-day forecast as of Friday morning suggested the rain tally for April 2021 might not go up by much in the period.
It was forecasting a 40 per cent chance of up to 2mm of rain on Saturday and a zero chance on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
The BoM reported of a five per cent chance of rain on Wednesday and Thursday.

April 2020 officially produced a record 106.6mm.
The reading may have been higher had the automatic weather station at Dubbo City Regional Airport not been out of action from April 9 to 15.
Keen rain watchers and record keepers in the city argued the tally was short, perhaps as much as 28mm.
Dubbo has received abundant rainfall in the past two months.
In February 2021, the city welcomed 114.4mm, about 2.5 times more rain than the average for the month of 45.1mm.
The year 2002 holds the record for the highest rainfall in February since 1994 with 218.2mm.
March 2021 produced 187.2mm, about 2.7 times more rain than the average for the month of 68.5mm.
The 26-year record for the highest rainfall belongs to March 2017 with 223mm.
BoM data shows 54mm was collected at the airport in January 2021, 2mm less than average rainfall for the month of 56mm.
Forecast top temperatures for the coming week range from 21 degrees Celsius on Saturday to 25 degrees on Thursday, with early morning temperatures getting as low as five degrees and as high as 11 degrees.
The average maximum and minimum temperatures in the city in April are 24.9 degrees and 10.4 degrees, respectively.
