Having played for Rugby and Newtown, O'Sullivan is one of the biggest reasons the Newtown Cricket Club is what it is today.
O'Sullivan played 129 games for Newtown after moving to the club in 1979 and was heavily involved throughout the 80s and 90s.
A talented off-spinner O'Sullivan sitting in 13th all-time on the club's wicket-taker list taking 236 wickets across his playing career at the club.

Known as a 'gutsy' fielder as well, O'Sullivan could also be found fielding at short leg in the lower grade games.
Captaining the Pinnington Cup side in 1985/86, O'Sullivan led the side to the club's second-ever premiership.
Off the field, O'Sullivan served on the club's committee for over ten years in numerous roles and captained/selected teams during this time.
O'Sullivan was also heavily involved in the junior side of the club, bringing them through the grades of the club and into higher grade cricket.
O'Sullivan was made a life member of Newtown in 2014/15 and is, unfortunately, the cricket clubs first life member to pass.
Tributes and messages were posted on social media remembering O'Sullivan as a great competitor who loved cricket.
A service for Greg will be held on Tuesday April 13 at Chapel Western District Memorial Park on Boothenba Road.
