Event organiser David O'Neill said event is notoriously held in Dubbo in way of tradition.
"When it first started it was run by a brother in Melbourne and a brother in Queensland and they chose Dubbo as it's about half way between the two places," he said.
"It was a really good weekend, we had full capacity for everything.
"We had more than 100 people come to the welcoming dinner on Friday night at the Matilda Inn, then we had about 75 to 80 cars at the Show and Shine.
"We had 50 odd cars out at the Motorcana held at the saleyards, almost more than we could handle- that was a lot of fun.
"On Sunday we brought about 35 of our cars out to the drag racing organised by Dubbo City Car Club.
"Pretty happy about the whole event.
"We don't get idiots turning up, no one's going to drive all that way to be an idiot.
"We had a lot of younger kids come out this year which was good, lot of P-platers- good to see them enjoying cars legally. I'm looking forward to coming back for 46 years."
Mr O'Neill said next years event will be help on April 15.
"We would like to thank Dubbo City Toyota,Toyota Australia, Autobarn Dubbo, always looks after us, Pizza Cravings, Automotive Products, Phoenix performance and Palm Audio," he said.
"We get massive support from the town which is why we keep coming back every year."
