Although the university made moves to re-invent celebrations last year, Charles Sturt was forced to postpone all of its 2020 graduation ceremonies indefinitely as the impact of the COVID-19 crisis was felt across the state.
Interim vice-chancellor, Professor John Germov, announced new dates have been confirmed, with up to 38 graduation ceremonies to be hosted at the university's Bathurst and Wagga Wagga campuses across four weeks in May and June.

The university's 5,800 graduates from last year will formally celebrate completing their studies between May 31 and June 25, Professor Germov explained.
"Graduation is the culmination of years of hard work, and a unique opportunity to celebrate this achievement with peers, family and friends," he said.
"Acknowledging the importance of this milestone, the university has made it a priority to coordinate and confirm the rescheduled events for our 2020 graduates.
"It will be wonderful to have our 2020 graduates back on campus for what will be a fantastic opportunity for them to catch up with their Charles Sturt University community and share how their career has developed."
Charles Sturt's will host two weeks of graduation ceremonies at both Bathurst and Wagga Wagga, with students from the university's other campuses able to attend whichever is more convenient for them.
For students who finished at the university's Orange or Dubbo campus, for instance, they will be able to choose which ceremony they attend and where, which is expected to be largely based on where they now live or work.
The celebrations will include all the elements of a typical graduation, including guest alumni speakers, the presentation of University Medals, professional photography and hospitality areas.
