Taylah Ashleigh Kilby, 21, had visited the victim at West McDonalds before the argument began about 1.30am on March 6.

Kilby and the victim met in the car park at McDonalds, before the pair became involved in an argument about their relationship.

According to court documents the victim did not want to engage in the conversation as he was in his work clothes and didn't think it would look good for business, before deciding to walk away.

Kilby yelled out "don't walk away from me or I'll kick your bike", as the victim continued to walk back to work.

The 21-year-old began following the victim yelling at him, before she turned around and kicked the front of the bike.

The motorbike sustained damage to the front of the bike that holds the clear shield up, according to police facts.

When the victim finished work he saw his bike was damaged, before receiving a text from Kilby which said "sorry about your bike".

Kilby later handed herself in at Dubbo Police Station, where police said she was remorseful for her actions and "completely understands she made a mistake".

In Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday Kilby pleaded guilty to one count of destroy or damage property.

Defence solicitor Jessica Kitch argued the damage to the motorbike was at the lower end and in the circumstances was a "clearly unplanned" incident, and "knee-jerk response" to an argument.

The court however heard Kilby had one prior charge for destroy of damage property.

"I've explained to her she needs to control her anger, because no one wants to see her before the court again," Ms Kitch said.

"She is remorseful and certainly doesn't want to come back again."

Magistrate Theresa Hamilton disagreed the damage was minimal and amounted to $892.90.

However said Kilby had expressed remorse and sent an apology.

"I note the incident happened on the spur of the moment," Magistrate Hamilton said.

Taking into account Kilby's young age and early plea of guilt, Magistrate Hamilton convicted Kilby and placed her on a 12-month community corrections order.

She was also ordered to repay the victim $892.90 for the damage to the motorbike.
