A man remains in a critical condition after being airlifted to Sydney following a car and truck crash in Forbes on Monday evening, with one more also transported to hospital after the accident.

Just after 5.30pm emergency services were called to Sherriff Street, near Dowling Street, in Forbes to respond to sports a Suzuki Vitara and a B-Double truck had collided.
The driver of the Suzuki, an 18-year-old man, was trapped before being freed by Fire and Rescue NSW and transported to Parkes Hospital. From there, he was airlifted to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.
Two 17-year-old passengers in the Suzuki were assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics and one was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the truck, a 65-year-old man, was taken to Forbes Hospital for treatment of shock and mandatory testing.
Officers from Central West Police District established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic police.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway, and anyone who may have dashcam, CCTV or information are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
