Officers from Orange Mid-Western Police District are investigating reports of illegal hunting, trespassing and thefts from farms across the region and appealing for anyone with information to come forward too.
Police from Wellington received a report of illegal hunting at Mount Wellesley, just outside the town, earlier this week.
Meanwhile, police from Baradine are making inquiries into reports of trespassing on rural properties in the Kenebri area - some 200 kilometres north of Dubbo near the Pilliga.
Two men were recently spotted jumping fences and there have been reports of thefts from farms in the area recently as well.
Police are asking anyone with information in relation to the illegal hunting investigation to contact Wellington Police Station on 02 6840 2099, or for anyone with information regarding trespassing or theft in the Kenebri area to contact Baradine Police Station on 02 6841 8100.
Crime Stoppers can be contacted for both incidents on 1800 333 000.
