The Carroll family were sidetracked this week by a surprise departure when one of their racing gigs went missing, a situation that's thankfully resolved itself, according to Carroll.
"It looks like about five young fellas had a good night and decided to take a gig, they wen running up Wingewarra street, but it's back where it belongs now, all's well that end's well," Carroll said.
The Dubbo trainer has one representative in for Sunday's race meeting, but they're part of a pairing that's already produced some magic.
Racing together in Parkes last time out, mare Lovin Everyday and driver Justin Reynolds took out a win after leading early, and despite the tougher competition this time out, Carroll's got plenty of confidence his horse'll be there at the end again.

"This was Justin's first ride for me, actually, but I had no hesitation about putting him back in again," Carroll said.
The pairing have drawn a favourable barrier, the primary spot in the front row, for Sunday's 2120m pace and Carroll knows his horse well enough to expect a strong result from the front-running performer.
"She's going up in class, I put her in that race hoping to get a good barrier draw out of it, if everything goes to plan, I think she'll be right there again," Carroll said.
"She really likes to have that lead in most of her races, I think there's only been a couple where she hasn't won by leading, she enjoys the race a lot more when she gets to take that early lead."
Another Dubbo pairing, that of trainer Greg Pay and driver Tom Pay, will also be in the hustings, starting from the second row with Bid for Stardom.
The racing will start at 5.53pm on Sunday, with Lovin Everyday's event starting at around 7.23pm.
That race will be followed by the Kyle Barnes memorial, with the 1720m, held in memory of the veteran trainer and driver who passed away due to pancreatic cancer in 2017.
