Debutant Shelly Swift kicks the night off in race one. The home-bred daughter of the speedy Layla Swift has drawn box eight. She tackles two other newcomers in Billy Creek (box four) and Arrogant Andy (six) while Strider - placed at Dubbo on February 18 on debut in a mixing affair over 318m - splits the pair.

Later, Furious Blaze (box eight) and litter brother Lightning Blazer (seven) will dominate punters' attention in the Ladbrokes Red Dog Final (race seven).

Furious Blaze was super impressive in his 22.83 seconds heat win on February 19. The win was his third from only four starts and the May '19 youngster has abundant upside.

Paul Braddon's wife, Pam, prepares Lightning Blazer. He finished with gusto to complete a hat-trick of wins in his 23.06 secs outing - his first test at this 400m trip.

The tipping point between the siblings is Furious Blaze's superior early pace yet, talent wise, there's little between the sons of Mepunga Blazer.

In race nine, Charming Meeka (box four) completes Paul Braddon's night. She's posted all five career wins at Dubbo over tonight's 318m trip.

Her main threat is Samantha Ashman's Winlock Bluey. He scooted home at Dubbo on February 19 in a career best 18.39 seconds and is a particularly reliable beginner.

While 318m and 400m racing dominates the 10-race card, two 516m events are scheduled - the same distance Dubbo's $40,000 to-the-winner Ladbrokes Brother Fox will be conducted over in May.
