Aldi has recalled its Diplomat Lemon and Ginger Herbal Infusion 60g (40 tea bag cups) due to potential ethylene oxide contamination.
It applies to packs with before dates from 08/02/2023 up to and including 11/02/2023.
Food products containing chemical contamination may cause illness/injury if consumed, Aldi advises.
Nerada Tea Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of Nerada Organics Lemon & Ginger Organic Herbal Infusion Tea 60g (40 tea cup bags), Food Standards Australia New Zealand reports.
The product has been available for sale at Woolworths in NSW, ACT & Qld, Coles in NSW, ACT & Vic and independent food retailers including IGA in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, TAS, SA & WA.
It applies to all packs with best before dates from 08/01/23 up to and including 22/01/23.
The recall is due to chemical/contaminant (ethylene oxide) contamination.
In both cases consumers are advised they should not consume this product and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
