MONO, which was given the name due to comprising of nine comic monologues, consists of good friends John Wood and Max Gillies who will play alongside Jean Kittson for the first time.
"Dubbo is the first place we will perform," Mr Wood said.
The cast will bring to life nine 'brilliant comic characters' including Mr Woods' roles as a 'puzzled' police officer who has to provide evidence in the dock, a quintessential bush poet and an audacious auctioneer wielding the hammer at a very surreal Sotheby's auction.
"It's a series of monologues which vary from Max playing an orchestra conductor to me as a bush poet and Jean as a headmistress of a fancy girls school," Mr Wood said.
Mr Wood said MONO is a show that appeals to those of all ages and would no doubt have people "falling off their seats" due to its humour.
"I laughed out loud when I read Jean's role as a headmistress of a fancy girls school. Anybody who's been to school will understand the gags in that," he said.
"It's going to appeal to a whole range of ages and genders."
Mr Wood said he for one was excited to make a return to the stage after almost a year off due to COVID-19.
"For me, and I'm sure for Max too as I've spoken to him on the phone a few times, I haven't done anything since around this time last year," he said.
"So I can't wait to be amongst an audience again, I've missed it terribly. The old brain is a bit slow at the moment."
Mr Wood said although super excited he anticipates some nerves to emerge on the night.

Following Dubbo, the cast will perform in Bathurst and then Orange.
According to Mr Wood, it won't be his or Mr Gillies ' first rodeo in the Central West.
"I'm no stranger to Dubbo, I've been there many times for a lot of different shows and I'm looking forward to coming back," he said.
"I've also been to Orange and Bathurst many, many times.

"Last time I stayed at Orange for a show we stayed at a great motel where we were introduced to some brilliant wine," he laughed.
"So we're looking forward to visiting Orange and Bathurst again as well. I enjoy travelling around regional Australia and always look forward to coming back."
MONO will be held at the Dubbo Regional Theatre on Thursday, March 25, the BMEX Bathurst on March 30 and the Orange Civic Theatre on March 31.
