LAMB is a story of family, the land, and being the one who stays, charting two generations of a farming family, with original songs by Mark Seymour (Mark Seymour and the Undertow, Hunters and Collectors).
Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre manager Linda Christof says the Australian production is one of the more well-known shows.
"To have it come to Dubbo is a real coup for regional audiences," Ms Christof said.
"Told with subtlety, song and humour, it's an intimate portrayal of one family's experience of rural life.
"It's a familiar story that I'm sure many regional audiences will relate to.
"The story explores the world of three siblings born onto their parents' property. It's the story of lies and secrets kept, of loves lost and opportunities missed.
"It really is a show that will resonate with rural audiences."
This latest production will feature cast members Brigid Gallacher with Emily Goddard, joined by new cast mate Darcy Kent.
LAMB will run from 7.30 pm on Tuesday, March 2.
