These scholarships are awarded to students who have completed their secondary education and have gained admission to a tertiary educational institution.
Ms Geyer will attend the University of Newcastle to study Psychology and Ms Turnbull will continue her passion for agriculture at Tocal College.

Auscott has been assisting local students to achieve their educational goals for over 50 years, offering the education scholarship to students who attend a school located within each of its three operating areas; Macquarie, Gwydir and Namoi Valleys each year.
The Loder Education Scholarship is a relatively new award initiated by Robyn and the late Bruce Loder, well known and respected identities in the Australian cotton and irrigation industries.
Macquarie Valley applicants are selected from Narromine, Trangie and Warren schools. Both scholarships cover tuition, books, living expenses, as well as other compulsory and course fees, totalling close to $50,000 over the life of the scholarship.
The selection process includes an interview with the Auscott Selection Committee, numerous criteria including; realistic ambition, need, ability to succeed in a chosen course, motivation and drive, academic performance, personal presentation, community involvement and maturity are used to assess the applicants.
Members of the Selection Committee commented on the high number of exceptional applicants interviewed for the 2020 scholarships.
Narromine High School said both Ms Geyer and Ms Turnbull are very worthy recipients of such an esteemed scholarship and wished them all the best for their future study.
