NSW Police responded to reports of an alleged brawl involving more than a dozen people - some said to be carrying cricket bats and golf clubs - at Dubbo on Tuesday evening, with one woman charged following further inquiries.

Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District were called to Alcheringa Street after reports of a brawl involving up to 20 people at around 7pm on Tuesday.
They were told a group of people armed with cricket bats, golf clubs and rocks confronted the driver of a green Honda CRV wagon, commencing an investigation.

Following inquiries officers arrested a 48-year-old woman in Alcheringa Street at about 9.50pm on Tuesday night, she was taken to Dubbo Police Station and charged with driving in a manner dangerous and affray.
Police will allege in court the woman drove her car towards a group of people on Alcheringa Street, before alighting from the vehicle and becoming involved in a fight with another woman.
The woman was granted conditional bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
