Dubbo's Mo'Ju - formerly known as Mojo Juju - is among the line-up. The event, scheduled for Tuesday to Sunday next week, will also feature prominent Australian acts Kate Ceberano, C.W. Stoneking, Mo'Ju, Hussy Hicks and Sub-Tribe.

In addition, the event will include local acts Smith & Jones, Andy Nelson, The Safety of Life at Sea and The Mirandas.

Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre manager Stephen Champion said ticket sales have been progressing smoothly.

"As of last Wednesday, 874 tickets had sold and 54 per cent of the budgeted income had been achieved," Mr Champion said.

Mr Champion said the predominantly indoor setting for the festival this year [BMEC's Theatre and City Hall, as well as the Fossil and Mineral Museum car park] will ensure weather factors less into proceedings.

"People are booking earlier than on the Mount, where the majority of sales have been in the last week, and bookings are strong for the free events as well...I think people know they don't need to worry about the weather." he said.

If rain affects performances scheduled for the Fossil and Mineral Museum car park, BMEC's Theatre will serve as the alternate venue.

A highlight of the outdoor concerts will be local wine, beer and cider accompanied by picnic boxes [catered by Food We Do's Martin Luhovy], which can be purchased in advance.
