Dubbo's eligible age pensioners are being reminded to apply for the regional seniors travel card which has been allocated to more than 100,000 people in the past three weeks.

Deputy Premier John Barilaro has reported of a "keen response" to year two of the trial of the $250 prepaid Visa card.
More than 337,500 seniors and their communities benefited from it in 2020.

The card can be used at "certain retailers" to pay for pre-booked NSW Trainlink regional train and coach fares, fuel and taxi rides.
"The card helps ease the burden of travel costs for eligible seniors in regional, rural and remote areas of NSW," Mr Barilaro said.
Eligible seniors have until November 30 to apply for a card.
They must be age pensioners with a valid pensioner concession card or hold a Commonwealth seniors health card issued by either the Department of Human Services or Department of Veterans' Affairs.
Applications for the card are made online at www.service.nsw.gov.au, by calling 13 77 88 or by visiting a Service NSW service centre.
