Dubbo product Taneka Todhunter, who played for the Rooster's Tarsha Gale Cup side's last season to take to the field in 2019, was invited back this year into the initial summer squad without any hesitation from the coaches.
Although the hard work has increased since then, with two trial appearances and a challenging training schedule, Todhunter will know this weekend if she's made the cut again, when the final squad is selected on Saturday.
The Roosters' head of recruitment and junior development Daniel Anderson said all the trial players had been deserving.
"They deserve it. They train hard," Anderson told Roosters.com.au
"Whatever every individual has got to do in three weeks, three years or 10 years, it starts next Saturday so I am really happy for them."
The squads will begin playing on February 6.
