Michael Christopher Rout pleaded guilty at Dubbo Local Court on Friday to undertaking a police pursuit and driving recklessly, drive while his licence was cancelled and drive an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
About 11.10am on Thursday officers attached to the Central North highway patrol attempted to stop a ute on the Mitchell Highway, about 20 kilometres north-west of Nyngan after checks revealed it was unregistered.
A short pursuit commenced, with the ute entering bushland adjacent to the roadway, before the 42-year-old driver was arrested a short time later.

Rout was taken to Nyngan Police Station, where further checks revealed the ute had been unregistered since 1998, and his licence has been cancelled since June 2019.
Rout was charged with police pursuit - drive recklessly, breach bail, drive with cancelled licence, and drive an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
The ute was seized by police.
At Dubbo Local Court on Friday Magistrate Malcolm MacPherson convicted Rout and sentenced him to two community corrections orders for a period of 15 and 12 months.
He was also disqualified from holding a drivers licence for 12 months and fined $1200.
