After being beaten in the first round back from the Christmas break by CYMS, the Blues returned to winning way in style last weekend when downing Souths by nine wickets.
"Yeah, we are looking to continue our good form from last week," Smith said.
Smith feels his side, which currently sits second behind RSL-Colts has room for improvement.
"Bowling and fielding are the areas we can improve on, the boys have been doing training on both of these all week."
In a warning to the rest of the competition, Smith feels his own games hasn't hit "full flight yet".
Smith is currently the competition's highest run-scorer having scored 496 runs at an average of 62 while he is also an underrated pace bowler who has developed into a vital figure for Macquarie since making the move across from Parkes.

"I'm feeling alright, runs haven't been easy to come by at all and I'm yet to hit full flight," he said.
Rugby will be without captain Jacob Hill but Smith insists that they are 'a bogey side' for Macquarie after defeating them in their last meeting.
"They are a bit of a bogey side for us, but they will rely on Benny Wheeler to score some runs, (Nathan) Munro is class and young Shep (Lawson Shepherd) and old Shep (Glenn) have been good this year too."
Along with Smith, veterans Jason Green, Ben Strachan and Ricky Medway have all contributed to the teams success so far this year and will likely be relied once again on Saturday.
At No. 2 Oval, a red-hot RSL-Colts side will take on the South Dubbo Hornets.
RSL-Colts are the clear premiership favourites after comfortably defeating the CYMS Cougars last time out.
Brad Cox and Mitch Bower again will be looking to give RSL a big total while captain Marty Jeffrey is set to return after missing last weekend's action.
At No. 3, CYMS welcome back Lachlan Strachan for their clash against Newtown.
Newtown jumped CYMS last week following a win over Rugby and the Cougars will be hoping they can put last week behind them when they were beaten easily by RSL-Colts twice.
The Tiger's Mitch Russo comes into the match in good form after scoring 83 last week and he will have to be on his game against the quality Cougars bowling attack fronted by Bailey Edmunds and Ben Knaggs.
Play starts 1pm.
