Fire and Rescue NSW officers were called out to the leaky prime mover near the corner of Cobra and Fitzroy Streets at 7.45pm, by that time an estimated 20 litres of diesel had spilled into the gutter.
"The truck had just recently filled up and was parked up for the night, on a lean," Fire and Rescue Dubbo Station Officer Chris Cusack explained.
"Officers cleaned it all up pretty quickly, decanting another 60 litres of fuel from the truck to stop the spill, there was no environmental impact."
Officers will, however, be referring a small fire overnight to police for further investigation.
Firefighters were called out to a fire at Elston Park at 12.14am on Friday morning, playground equipment was alight when they arrived at the scene.
The fire was quickly estinguished.
