Don Crosby Veterinary Surgeons has advertised for a veterinarian and a veterinary nurse.
The recruiting of the two newly-created positions comes after Apiam announced in November in an ASX release it had entered into an agreement to acquire the practice for total consideration of $5 million.
As part of the acquisition, existing Apiam clinic, Dubbo Veterinary Hospital and Don Crosby Veterinary Surgeons would merge, Apiam managing director Dr Chris Richards said in a company update in November.
All clients and patients would be serviced from the Don Crosby locations at Dubbo and Narromine, he said.
The lease at the existing Dubbo Veterinary Hospital would lapse at the end of November and would not be renewed, he said.
At the time of the acquisition, Don Crosby Veterinary Surgeons employed six veterinarians across its two practices.
The business was founded in 2002 and is led by veterinarian with more than 30 years' experience Dr Don Crosby, and predominantly services companion animal and equine clients.
The company is going into the new phase with optimism.
