The RSL-Colts White have closed the gap between themselves and South Dubbo United on the competition leaderboard with a win over Macquarie Cricket Club.

The Colts White side now sit in second place, nestled between Colts Red on third and South Dubbo United, who are four points ahead of them in first place.
The win over Macquarie came with an added sweetener of two bonus points after Colts White were able to keep Macquarie constrained to just 76 runs.

Harry Brennan offered the best contribution of the beaten side in Macquarie's unsteady opening inning, chipping in 46 runs after Brenton Morgan was dismissed early.
No other batsman passed single digits, with Colts' Rabi Sharma continuing a red-hot run of form by posting his best numbers of the season, going 5/25 with the ball, including the all important wicket of Brennan.
Things looked dicey for the Colts' run-chase early on, but they were able to build on Thomas Peacock's offering of 20 enough for Wes Giddings to close out the show with 12, not out, helped along by 30 extra runs.
The win, and the bonus points, put pressure on South Dubbo United, who fell to the CYMS Cougars following a late collapse in their run chase that saw them constrained to 9/102.
Heath Larance (42) and Trae Smith (40) had both put up numbers for CYMS early and were backed up by Luke Ensor (28) to help their victorious side to a total of 4/142.
RSL Colts Red also maintained their position on the ladder, adding to the pressure at the top with a win over South Dubbo after some dicey early offerings provoked a real battle.
The Colts saw three opening batsman dismissed for nothing before John MacRae (45) and Samuel Abbott (50) righted the ship to put up a total of 9/139.
South Dubbo did their best to chase down that total, but fell shy of the numbers required, with MacRae returning to bowl out Richie Richardson (30) and put an end to the Hornet's hopes.
In the fourth and final Pinnington Cup match held on Saturday, Newtown fell short in their efforts to chase down Rugby Cricket Club after a stunning streak by Cameron Herd (71).
Zac Murphy (39) and Josh Connelly (26) also contributed, with the final total reading 4/194 after Rugby's innings.
Newtown's Hayden Cox (75) put in a valiant contribution, but his side were unable to find their footing as Ben Rosenbaum racked up wickets for Rugby's bowling attack.
