Dubbo Regional Council has advised they will be limited but people who miss out will still be able to participate in the event.
"..if community members miss out on securing a registered ticket, they'll still be able to come down to the park to witness the citizenship ceremony and award presentations," the council revealed in a statement.

Dubbo regional mayor Ben Shields indicated the council was responding to the threat of COVID-19.
"We've had to adjust and alter the way we do things, including Australia Day celebrations, to keep our community safe," he said.
