Dylan James Fieldsend, 34, appeared via video link from Bathurst Correctional Centre in Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday pleading guilty to the supply and possession of prohibited drugs.
Fieldsend was on bail in July last year when police went to a home to arrest him for an unrelated matter, and on arrival discovered him carrying a needle and 0.8 grams of methamphetamine in his back pocket.

Police facts revealed they also located a set of scales and foil on the hallway bench top. As a result Fieldsend was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station when police noticed some bizarre behaviour.
Police noticed Fieldsend was seated in the dock in a "very particular and uncomfortable way, with an insinuation he was trying to go to the toilet and was somewhat constipated", court documents noted.
Police said they believed he "had something secreted in or around his anus" and ordered a strip search.
Documents revealed Fieldsend became argumentative before dropping his pants around his ankles and "performing a pirouette", while firmly clenching his glute muscles.
Refusing to unclench his buttocks, police handcuffed Fieldsend and used "reasonable force".
Upon unclenching his buttocks a blue metal tube fell to the ground which revealed a resealable bag containing 3.8 grams of methamphetamine and a pink balloon containing 52 buprenorphine strips.
Fieldsend initially told police he accidentally sat on the blue metal tube, to later telling them someone put it between his buttocks as part of a sexual fetish.
Police believe the drugs Fieldsend had in his possession held a street value up to $4800 and a value up to $50,000 in jail.
Defence lawyer Andrew Rolfe told the court Fieldsend had accepted he had a "significant drug problem".
"He wanted me to stress to the court his long term goal dealing with his drug issues," he said.
"One of his goals is to get some stability while he's in custody."
Magistrate Malcolm MacPherson dismissed the prohibited drug charge as Fieldsend was in custody for other matters, however was convicted for the supply of prohibited drugs and sentenced to a 15-month community corrections order.
He was also ordered to abstain from drugs, unless prescribed by a doctor.
