Despite their continued success, the gap between second placed South Dubbo and third placed Newtown became almost non-existent on Saturday, as South Dubbo fell to RSL Colts White to leave both them and Newtown on 41 points apiece.
That match played out across Lady Cutler's fifth oval, with Rabi Sharma taking four wickets during South Dubbo's opening run chase to keep the white and yellow constrained to 130 runs.
George Dickson provided 58 with the bat to keep South Dubbo's hopes alive, but the wickets were too scattered for the South Dubbo bowling line-up to hold off an unbeaten Wes Giddings, who reached 43 not out to push his side to 6/131.

South Dubbo United, meanwhile, downed their Rugby rivals after opting to bat first and putting up a steady 97 runs.
The side looked in some trouble when Rugby's Matt Naden bowled Yogesh Chawla and dismissed Dharmendra Mepani back to back without either getting a hit in, but Mepani achieved some redemption later on, taking three wickets for 11 runs and helping limit Rugby to 89 runs.
Newtown helped cause the shake-up at the top end of the ladder by taking a bonus point in their match-up with the RSL Colts Reds.
Electing to bat first, Newtown provided a strong run in the middle of the order to tip the game in their favour, with Adam Davis (30), Hayden Cox (43) and Greg Kerr (43) all helping push Newtown to a 8/157 total.
RSL Colts Red found themselves in trouble early, with a trio of duck's eggs dished out by Alex Sambrook, Bart Goodman and Malachi Dutschke.
Luke Holcombe (40), put a up a fight and remained standing at the tail-end of the RSL Colts Red batting line-up, but was unable to leverage his side past their 92 run total.
CYMS Cougars also took home bonus points after totalling up an impressive 9/200 run total over Macquarie, with Heath Larance (35) and Kyle Larance (47) providing the goods in a strong opening batting partnership.
Cody Green took Kyle Larance's wicket short of a half-century, but good news was few and far between for Macquarie, whose best offering during their innings was Lochlan George's 25 runs en-route to a 71 total.
CYMS will next week take on South Dubbo United, while Macquarie will meet RSL Colts White.
Newtown will meet Rugby and South Dubbo will play RSL Colts Red.
