An 81-year-old woman has been airlifted to Sydney after a single-vehicle crash near Narromine.
About 1.54pm on Saturday emergency services were called to Tomingley Road, about 11 kilometres south of Narromine, after a women's vehicle left the road and hit a tree.
STORY CONTINUES AFTER VIDEO:
Police, NSW Ambulance, Fire and Rescue NSW, Volunteer Rescue Association and the Rural Fire Service attended the scene.
NSW Ambulance operated on the 81-year-old on the side of the road for a collapsed lung, before being transferred to Westmead Hospital in Sydney by Air Ambulance.
It's understood that when the Air Ambulance landed in the paddock, a piece of stubble pushed open a fuel drain valve. Crews were on hand to contain the 70 litre jet fuel leak.
It is understood the woman remains in intensive care.
