We've got to mentor those young fells and get the right mix for the squad...Scott Fox
While the Dubbo Bulls haven't been short on enthusiasm for the upcoming Western Premier League and Dubbo District Football Association premiership, the process of getting back on field isn't going to be without some changes.
A number of new recruits will have to be brought up to first grade standard during the game's pre-season, with a focus on replenishing the troops to stay competitive with the newer sides that have committed to the region's top-level contest.
According to one of the squad's veterans, Scott Fox, Dom Ambler will be among the players who won't feature for the side in the upcoming campaign.
"We've got to mentor those young fellas and get the right mix for the squad, we've unfortunately lost Dom Ambler this year, he's someone we'll need to try and replace with one of the younger guys," Fox said.
"We'll be trying to get them blooded in the first grade, we've got our fingers crossed about a few of those young players we played with last year, and we think we'll be seeing them again."
"We'll be looking to try and keep those oldheads in there and build that team morale as quickly as we can once training gets underway."
Training will start 'soon'.
