Anyone with information is urged to contact police after a stolen vehicle was set on fire in East Dubbo on Thursday night.

About 4am on Friday, emergency services were called to Buckingham Drive after a Toyota sedan was on fire.
Dubbo Fire and Rescue NSW Station Officer, Chris Cusack said the vehicle was fully alight when they arrived, but crews bought the blaze under control quickly. However the vehicle was totally destroyed.
"Neighbours reported loud banging noises which we believe were just the tyres of the vehicle popping," Mr Cusack said.
"Police are investigating the incident as it appears the vehicle may have been deliberately lit."
Orana Mid-Western police confirmed the sedan had been stolen from a business premises on Mountbatten Drive as a result of a break and enter, before been driven to the vacant lot in Buckingham Drive and set alight.
"We will continue investigating the incident and ask if anyone has footage or information that can assist with investigations to contact Dubbo Police or Crime Stoppers," a police spokesperson said.

A VEHICLE has been stolen and then set on fire in East Dubbo overnight.
Orana Mid-Western Police confirmed that they were investigating the incident.
"Officers attended a vehicle fire along with Dubbo Fire and Rescue at 4am this morning," a police spokesperson said.
"We can confirm a Toyota sedan was stolen from a business premises on Mountbatten Drive as a result of a break and enter at the premises.
"The car has then been driven to Buckingham Drive and set alight.
"We will continue investigating the full incident and ask if anyone has footage or information that can assist with investigations to contact either Dubbo Police or Crime Stoppers."

A VEHICLE has been destroyed by fire in Dubbo overnight.
Dubbo Fire and Rescue were alerted to reports of the blaze near Buckingham Drive at 4.06am this morning.

Station Officer, Chris Cusack, said the vehicle was fully alight when they arrived.
"We received the call out to a vehicle fire on a vacant lot off Buckingham Drive," he said.
"On arrival we found a Toyota totally involved with fire.
"Neighbours reported loud banging noises which we believe were just the tyres of the vehicle popping.
"We were able to extinguish the fire quickly, however the vehicle was totally destroyed.
"Police are investigating the incident as it appears the vehicle may have been deliberately lit."
