Just after 11am on Thursday seven NSW Ambulance paramedic crews responded to reports of a multi-vehicle crash on the Mitchell Highway, near Neurea south of Wellington.
On arrival paramedics treated eight patients ranging in ages, with non-life threatening injuries.
Six of the patients were transferred to Orange Hospital.

NSW Ambulance Inspector Adam Parker has urged the public to take care on the roads and drive to the conditions.
"All patients were very lucky not to sustain any life-threatening injuries," he said.
"With multiple patients across such a busy area, this creates all sorts of challenges for paramedics."
