Yeoval product and former Western Zone spearhead Chris Tremain is part of a Sydney Thunder squad that will hope to replicate their female counterparts' performance when they took out the WBBL title earlier this year.
The Thunder open their season on Saturday afternoon against the Melbourne Stars. While the starting 11 for the first game is yet to be announced, Tremain is definitely in with a shot of featuring for the opener.

Other Thunder bowlers include Ben Cutting, Daniel Sams, Chris Green, Adam Milne and Jono Cook.
Tremain rejoined the Thunder last season, signing a three year deal, after previously donning the green back in the 2012-13 season.
But the big fast bowler from Yeoval didn't have the success one would hope for. Despite featuring in 11 matches, he took just five wickets at an average of 58.
One factor that may be able to strike him into action is consistency, with the side's first five games being played at Canberra's Manuka Oval, four of which are classed as Thunder home games.
Thunder imports for this year include Sam Billings, Alex Hales and Milne.
