State Member for Dubbo Dugald Saunders attended the Fire and Rescue Christmas party on Sunday, December 6 at the Narromine Golf Club.
Narromine Elder Ruth Carney did a welcome to country, and Narromine Shire Council deputy mayor Dawn Collins also attended to perform the official welcome to guests.

Mr Saunders presented the Narromine Station 401 crew with their bushfire citations along with a certificate signed by NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian. Each firefighter was also presented with a medal, and baseball cap.
Mr Saunders also presented national medals to two Narromine retained firefighters Tony Coen and Lynden Davis.
Santa visited the party, and gave Mr Saunders a bag containing fire safety material including a 'keep looking when cooking' spoon, and a smoke alarm.
Mr Saunders was shown through the station and had a go using the first aid hose reel, also known as a 'branch'.
Many former 401 Narromine firefighters also attended the party, including former captain Robert Hawkins AFSM, former deputy captain Bob Treseder, and former retained firefighters Roger Blackman and Bob Davis.
Guests also enjoyed a powerpoint presentation containing over 500 photos along with some old and new footage.
