Cancer-stricken Mitchell Ray and his family have left The Children's Hospital at Westmead and moved to Manly's Bear Cottage which provides around-the-clock paediatric palliative care.
Mitchell's loving mother Erin has posted a video on the Mitchell Blasts Neuroblastoma Facebook page to show family, friends and supporters how her family is settling in.
The Dubbo family relocated to Sydney early in 2020 to access treatment for Mitchell who was diagnosed with the rare neuroblastoma.
This week Mrs Ray used the Facebook page to tell family, friends and supporters that her son was "full of cancer".
On Wednesday night she told of the move to Bear Cottage.
"Our family can arrive from tomorrow," she wrote.
"We're excited because they've been limited access to Mitchell because of COVID.
"Bear Cottage, to us, provides the opportunity for Mitchell's family to see him, and we don't want to withhold him from those who love him."
Dubbo businesses, community members and the Rotary Club of Dubbo South have revamped and renovated the Ray family's home in West Dubbo in the past month.
In February, friends of the family set up a gofundme page with a target of $100,000.
