After being unable to hold its annual fundraising fete and auction the Maranatha House volunteers looked at alternatives.
"Kotoni Staggs and Brent Naden, two local guys who played their younger years with the Wellington Cowboys, have generously donated club jerseys signed by the 2020 Brisbane Broncos and Penrith Panthers," volunteer Yvonne Everett said.

The successful fundraising raffle raised $1800 for Maranatha, with the funds to be used for a future project.
The Penrith jersey went to Gary McCarroll and Sonia West got the Broncos.
"We are very, very happy," Mrs Everett said. "The money will be used where it's required."
She thanked the two NRL players and former Wellington school boys for their generosity.
"They are talented young men who always remember their home town, their families and friends. We thank Kotoni, Brent and the Lousick and Naden families for their generous donation," Mrs Everett said.
